Dietitian in Markham
What is Nutritional Counselling?
Nutrition counselling offers evidence-based guidance to promote sustainable healthy eating habits to achieve personalized wellness goals.
What can I expect?
Thorough assessment: At your initial appointment, you will have the opportunity to express your health and nutrition-related concerns as well as goals to the Dietitian.
Custom diet plans: Our experienced dietitian will then collect and interpret information relevant to your health and nutrition history. We interpret vitals (i.e. blood pressure and blood cholesterol) to health habits, current diet, emotional health, body composition, life balance, etc.
We then work with you to develop a personalized action plan that includes meal planning to attain your goals (from weight management to better digestive health, more physical activity/athletic performance, etc.).
Sustainable dietary goals: At the follow-ups, the Dietitian will meet with you to assess your progress and revise the action plan or food rules to help you continuously reach your health and nutrition goals. Enjoy healthy weight gain/loss without deprivation or elevated stress levels.
Healing: With consistency, the clinical nutrition experience helps our clients create sustainable healthy habits capable of alleviating chronic conditions and/or diseases through nutritional guidance. Expect a higher quality life going forward.
Nutrition solutions for everyone: Our personalized care plans utilize food science and all other aspects that cater to the most unique eating habits (including binge eating and picky eating) or manage complicated health conditions (we can help with diabetes management).
